Bio
Jason B. McIntosh
I'm Jason B. McIntosh, a DC-based film, stage and voice actor. Despite the last name, I'm not Scottish, an apple or heir to an iPhone empire, but am often cast as CONFIDENT, STRONG, DECENT, and TOUGH but KIND: kings, fathers, law enforcement, guidance counselors, and trustworthy friends.
Raised in San Diego, CA, I'm a Navy brat and a proud Army veteran. I trained at the Shakespeare Theatre Company's Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University, at the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory and with world renowned acting teacher Vera Katz.
ON CAMERA: I've appeared as a skeptical national security analyst (Supporting) in The Nevernight Connection, Rocket Media, as a supportive dad (Supporting) in Moving Day, New Style Independent Pictures and as an opinionated neighborhood philosopher (Supporting) in The 51st State, Washington Drama Society.
ONSTAGE: I've performed with Ford's Theatre, Studio Theatre, Folger Theatre Company, Everyman Theatre Company, The Kennedy Center, Mosaic Theater, 1st Stage, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company, and Quotidian Theater Company, among others. I also have two Helen Hayes Award nominations for Jerry Springer: The Opera at Studio Theatre and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom at 1st Stage. Both were nominated for Outstanding Play, Resident Ensemble.
VOICE OVER: I'm an accomplished voice actor with commercial, film, animation, graphic novel, industrial
and radio stage play credits.
